We are very excited about two new features we've added to the site and want to share them with you:

Recurring Invites -- The first new feature gives you the ability to post Invites with multiple, recurring dates for proposed meetings.  You can now post meetings that will recur on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.  We call this type of Invite a "Recurring Invite."  You do not need to commit to holding a meeting on any given recurring date.  By posting a Recurring Invite, you are simply indicating that you are generally available to meet on those specific dates.  Someone interested in meeting can pick any one or more of your Recurring Invite dates to meet with you.  Like any other Invite, only people you have approved may attend your meeting.  We think the Recurring Invite feature will be useful for people who know that they are generally available for meetings on certain dates at certain times, e.g., coffee any weekday at 11 am or dinner every Thursday at 7 PM. 

Archive --  We've also created an Archive feature where every single Invite you've ever created or accepted is archived and viewable at any time in the future on the Archive tab on your My Invites page.  You may want to look at past Invites to see where you scheduled certain meetings or who attended them -- you can even communicate with anyone who accepted your archived Invite by accessing the Guest Response dashboard for that archived Invite.  We will not stop here though -- we will expand the capabilities of this new feature in the coming weeks to help you utilize our networking tool even more effectively. 

As a reminder, last month we added another feature to help streamline use of our tool for people on the other side of an Invite, i.e., people looking for meetings to attend.  If you don't see any Invites of interest in your area, set up an RSS feed.  This will allow you to be notified of any invites that might interest you.  We believe that the new Recurring Invites feature and the RSS Feed, together, create even more opportunities for people with similar interests to find and meet each other through MeetingWave.
