New Features
Our newest features integrate MeetingWave with commonly used web applications and also simplify the process for creating Invites. We are very excited about these enhancements.

MeetingWave now available on Facebook - You can now access MeetingWave through Facebook - networking opportunities are now at your finger tips! Please check out the first version of this application. We welcome any feedback.

Integration with online calendars - Now you can sync your MeetingWave meeting dates with your iCal, Outlook, Windows Calendar, Google Calendar, or any other calendaring software compatible with the iCalendar format.

Streamlined Invite creation - You can now input all the details for your Invites on one page. This replaces our multi-page, multi-step process for creating Invites.

QuickInvite - Use this simplified process to set up an Invite when you don't need to input as many details for a meeting (e.g., when you want to set up an Invite for coffee with friends).

Invite templates - Yet another feature that makes creating Invites easier is our new "Copy Invite" functionality, which allows you to use one of your existing Invites as a template for a new Invite. You won't need to input Invite details that are already in the template.

Tips
Here are some examples of how you can use MeetingWave to network or simply meet new people:
 • Are you an attorney striving to become a rainmaker? Try posting a recurring, Targeted Invite for lunch with fellow alumni or people interested in learning about your practice to meet potential clients. A Targeted Invite allows you to specify the types of people you want to meet with. Emphasize your expertise and knowledge in your MeetingWave profile and in the Invite description.
 • Are you a realtor trying to find your next client or sell a home in your portfolio? Try posting a recurring Open Invite at a nearby coffee shop to discuss real estate matters with potential buyers or sellers. An Open Invite is broader than a Targeted Invite - you don't need to specify the types of people you want to meet with. Describe the areas and neighborhoods you represent in your MeetingWave profile and in the Invite description.
 • Are you in sales and looking to bring in more business? Try posting a Targeted Invite at your next conference or tradeshow to meet potential customers. Target employees of a company you want to do business with.
 • Are you looking for a job or considering a job offer? Try posting a Targeted Invite to meet with people who work at or used to work at companies you are interested in.
 • Are you interested in meeting people and making new friends? Try posting a recurring Open Invite to meet new people - anytime, anyplace.

Remember: You can describe the type of people you want to meet in your Invite and can decline to meet with anyone who has accepted your Invite for any reason. We provide you with a high degree of control in organizing meetings, even when you are looking to meet new people!
